Linda Butler Vanderford

Please join us this Sunday, November 25, 2018, for a short memorial service to honor the life of Linda Butler Vanderford.
Reverend John and Linda Vanderford would have celebrated a 60th wedding anniversary on November 26, 2018. After serving the Oxford community as Pastor’s wife for the past 41 years, Linda left behind four sons and a daughter, 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her love for her family, the church family, and the many Ole Miss students who attended across the years will not be soon forgotten. She made her home open to all.
She served as Sunday school teacher, Ladies Ministry Leader, and was a major part of three church building programs.
While we know she has heard, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant,” her passing has left a deep void in this earthly walk of her friends and family, and she is terribly missed.
The memorial service will begin after our regular Sunday morning service at approximately 11:15 a.m.
